Our visit to Embedded World 2025
Trends, innovations, and exchange
The embedded world Exhibition & Conference, which took place in Nuremberg from March 11 to 13, 2025, once again brought together the global embedded community. As the leading trade fair for embedded systems, it provided a platform for presenting innovations and discussing current developments in areas such as edge computing, artificial intelligence, and system-on-module platforms.
We at Dr. Türck Ingenieurbüro GmbH were also there to explore the latest technological trends, exchange ideas with industry experts, and gain insights into current developments in embedded technologies. The opportunity to talk to industry experts and identify potential opportunities for cooperation was particularly valuable for us.
embedded world 2025 was an exciting event that gave us lots of new ideas. We'd like to thank everyone we had interesting conversations with and look forward to continuing the exchange.

Working in Photonics
Review of the event with Dr. Elisabeth Siebert
On March 4, 2025, Dr. Elisabeth Siebert participated as a speaker at OpTecBB's “Working in Photonics” career network event. The event offered students and young professionals insights into the diverse career opportunities in the optics and photonics industry.
Dr. Siebert, who has been part of the team at Dr. Türck Ingenieurbüro GmbH since 2017, gave a presentation on her career in optical metrology and the analysis of measurement data. With her many years of experience in optical development and the spectroscopic investigation of biochemical processes, she provided valuable insights into practical applications of photonics.
There was a lively exchange with new and familiar faces, students, and professionals interested in a career in photonics.
We would like to thank OpTecBB for organizing the event and look forward to further exciting opportunities to share our knowledge and promote young talent in photonics

Learning together
Hackathon meets Climate Change AI
Every now and then, the data enthusiasts in our company get together for a hackathon to work on something other than customer projects. This time, Susana introduced us to the great tutorials from the Climate Change AI Summer School 2024.
We decided on a deep learning challenge that involved classifying satellite images based on their dominant land use and land cover—an important task for tracking changes caused by environmental disturbances. In the process, we deepened our knowledge of transfer learning and discovered how crucial the choice of batch size can be for model performance.
These sessions are always a great source of inspiration, as we can strengthen both our knowledge and our team cohesion.
