After completing his doctorate, postdoctoral studies and two years in industry, he founded his engineering firm in 2005.

Volker gained extensive experience in technical optics in numerous projects ranging from deep underground (borehole monitoring with fibre optics) to outer space (satellite-based optics). His area of expertise is working with ZEMAX®, a software programme that he has been using almost daily since 2004 and which continues to inspire him.

Another area of his work is computer-aided data analysis, a subject that has fascinated him since his student days and in which he can combine his knowledge of physics, mathematics and computer science.

After working in Moscow, Berlin and Sydney and training as a project manager, she joined the engineering firm in 2012.

Irinas passion is measurement and evaluation. She now applies her research experience to numerous projects involving simulation and data analysis, in which she has supported Industry 4.0 customers with her consulting services. Her curiosity and willingness to constantly take on new challenges are key motivations for her work. She derives great pleasure from using mathematics and statistics to turn seemingly chaotic data into customer benefits and to answer questions that had not been asked before.

After studying at Lomonosov Moscow State University, obtaining her doctorate at TU Berlin and completing her postdoctoral studies at the University of California, Berkeley, she joined the engineering firm's team in 2015.

New projects not only present new challenges, they also bring with them an expansion of knowledge that Daria can use to solve new tasks, much to her delight. With her clear focus on goal-oriented project management, she develops solutions that are optimally tailored to the needs of customers. With a clear focus on efficiency and quality, she manages projects from the analysis of the initial situation to the implementation of innovative solutions.

Daria is not only dedicated to data analysis, optimisation and process improvement, but is also involved in marketing. She enjoys establishing new contacts, conducting market research and exchanging ideas with colleagues and experts at conferences, trade fairs and meetings.

Doctorate in numerical simulation of physical systems. Subsequently spent six years in R&D at a medium-sized manufacturer of industrial measurement technology. As team leader for measurement process development, he acquired knowledge in the fields of ultrasound technology, fluid mechanics and signal processing, among others. Momme has been with the engineering firm Dr. Türck since 2016.

Momme's area of expertise is algorithm development for technical applications and the modelling of complex technical systems and processes. In this role, he is able to combine his knowledge and experience in the fields of physics, measurement technology and numerics.

Elisabeth joined the team in 2017 and specialises in the design of optical systems. Her work ranges from imaging applications to lighting design and includes projects in medical technology, the film industry, optical communication, measurement technology and microscopy. She prefers to work with Code V and Zemax. A particular focus is on the development of anamorphic optics and the precise tolerancing of complex systems.

She enjoys the creative challenge of developing individual solutions and analysis methods. Thanks to her experience in a wide range of industries, Elisabeth has extensive expertise in the design of optical systems. For her, every project is an opportunity to learn something new and work with customers to achieve innovative results.

Studied astroparticle physics at the University of Bonn and earned his doctorate at Humboldt University in Berlin. Research stays at the University of British Columbia in Canada, the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the USA and the South Pole in Antarctica. Marcel has been with the engineering firm Dr. Türck since 2019.

Thanks to his experience in a wide variety of international research projects, Marcel specialises in the statistical analysis of large data sets and the modelling of complex systems. He appreciates the diversity of his tasks, which he tackles on a daily basis by combining his knowledge of mathematics and statistics, programming expertise, technical expertise and meaningful presentations and visualisations.

New challenges are a constant motivation for Marcel to develop himself further in order to create constructive insights and added value for customers.

Susana Contreras completed her undergraduate studies in engineering at the Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia. She later completed her postgraduate studies at Humboldt University in Berlin, where she received a PhD in biophysics after defending her dissertation, which dealt with understanding neural responses in different extracellular environments through statistical modelling. After a postdoctoral fellowship at Humboldt University in Berlin, Susana joined our team in March 2022.

Thanks to her interdisciplinary training, she is creative when it comes to proposing solutions and designing algorithms. She particularly enjoys understanding the solutions that living organisms have developed to cope with environmental challenges and then using them as inspiration for solving technical problems.

With a PhD in biophysical chemistry and experience in quantum mechanical simulations of biochemical interactions, Yvonne brings scientific depth and precision to every project. After several years in research, she deepened her passion for data-driven innovation and specialised in machine learning. Particularly complex deep learning models spark her thirst for knowledge, and she loves to apply them in creative and practical ways.

Yvonne joined the Türck Ingenieure team in 2024. She contributes not only technical expertise, but also an inspiring ability to convey complex topics in clear, vivid presentations. Together with Daria, she supports the marketing department in reflecting the warm and professional nature of the company and driving innovative projects forward.

When it comes to organisational and financial operational processes, Simone has been our reliable contact person for years. With her enthusiasm and love of numbers, she ensures that everything runs smoothly – from salary transfers and booking business trips to invoicing and communicating with the tax office.
